How to register for a dinner or event
Register for free and indicate the cities you'd travel to for a dinner.
If a table forms in one of them and there's a seat for you, the invitation comes by email. It stays open for 48 hours.
A US$500 participation fee confirms your seat. The address follows.

Where
Standing tables have already been established in London and New York, with dates now being set through 2027. We're expanding to new cities: once we have a high-quality table in a city, a date is set for a Shift Now dinner. We also host events and symposia at important gatherings.

The dinner is the beginning.
Following an event, the founders and curators help to solidify and build connections, turning each Shift into a trackable unit of action and making the further introductions it needs to thrive.
After a dinner, we give every guest the opportunity to nominate a Shift to be tracked and receive the network's support. Past and current Shifts include businesses, charities, events, meetups, and more.
We ask every guest one question when they leave: what did you take out of the room that you didn't bring in?

Why does Shift Now exist?
Shift Now was born out of a need to get deeper than networking. A name and a card give you nothing to do with either. What we wanted was connection with weight: to people, and through them to the ecosystem they belong to, so that a conversation could become something. That takes a table, not a room.

We're more distracted, isolated, fragmented. Technology wants our lunch.
But we're learning. We understand ourselves, our environment, our impact, and the world we want to see. Deep-tech is becoming a catalyst for greater self-knowledge.
And we can build the most extraordinary things if we have intention. But to start doing, we need to understand the ecosystem: your ecosystem.
Everything starts with great conversation. We're collecting the world's best at, well, everything: builders and visionaries and artists alike. For purposeful conversations that shift things forward. It's an experiment.
What actually happens?
A dinner. Twelve people, one evening, carefully curated and facilitated. The conversation is the point.
Is this networking?
Not in the way you know it. A useful network is the result of great relationships.
What's expected of me?
Intentional presence, and your most open and giving spirit.
Seats are locked 72 hours before a dinner and are non-transferable and non-refundable. If you can't make it, tell us straight away: the balance of the room depends on every seat.
How are guests chosen?
Membership is by application. Every table is composed by hand, by the five founders, for range: discipline, gender, generation. If a table forms and you're not on it, you stay on the list for the next one.

What does it cost, and what does it cover?
Registering is free. A dinner is a flat US$500 participation fee, paid when you accept an invitation. It covers the whole journey of the evening: the curation, the room and what follows. This isn't about fine dining. Events and retreats are priced separately.
What if I miss the 48 hours?
The seat goes to the next person. You stay on the list.
Where are the dinners held?
Somewhere different each time, chosen for its energy rather than its name. It could be a bar, a church or a rooftop. We aim for special places, but the room is never the point.
What happens to my details?
Used only for Shift Now: invitations, and the community's work after a dinner. Full transparency, nothing shared, nothing sold.
